Risk of Cardiovascular Disease in Women with High Blood Pressure or Blood Pressure Progress Professor Conenj of Harvard Medical School published an article in the BMJ on a prospective study of high blood pressure or blood pressure progression and cardiovascular disease risk in American women. In the early stage of hypertension, the systolic blood pressure is 120-139 mmHg or the diastolic blood pressure is 80-89 mmHg. 130-139/85-89 mm Hg is normal high blood pressure, 120-129/75-84 mm Hg is normal blood pressure. A US women's health researcher conducted a prospective study of 39 322 healthy women and compared their risk of cardiovascular disease by an average of 10.2 years of follow-up. The main monitoring indicators include: cardiovascular disease death time, myocardial infarction or shock caused by cardiovascular disease, prognosis of hypertension. RESULTS: 982 (2.5%) of women developed cardiovascular disease, and 8686 (30.1%) of those without hypertension progressed to hypertension; the incidence of cardiovascular disease was 1.6‰ in normal blood pressure, and those with normal high blood pressure were higher. In 2.9 years of age, 4.3% of people with hypertension. Compared with those with normal high blood pressure, those with normal blood pressure had a lower risk of cardiovascular disease (relative risk ratio 0.61, 95% confidence interval 0.48 to 0.76), the relative risk ratio for casual hypertension was 0.42, and that for hypertensive patients was 1.30. The cardiovascular risk was also higher in the first 48 months of prehypertension.
