How to eliminate scaling in the air compressor cooler

After the air compressor cooler is used for a long time, the bicarbonate such as calcium and magnesium in the cooler water will form scale therein, and the scale will affect the normal heat transfer of the cooler, and the temperature of the air compressor will increase. The air cannot be cooled to a predetermined temperature, which directly affects the production cost and even affects safe operation. Therefore, according to the specific situation, a plan for regular cleaning of scale should be formulated.
There are two ways to clean the scale: one is the mechanical method, that is, the physical removal method; the other is the chemical method.
Mechanical method Use a wire brush or a wire tie to drag back and forth inside the tube to remove the scale inside the tube.
The chemical method is to dissolve the scale with dilute hydrochloric acid according to the characteristics that the scale is generally alkaline. However, the acid content should not be too high, otherwise it will corrode the metal. The specific cleaning method is as follows: firstly, dilute hydrochloric acid solution is prepared, 5-10KG hydrochloric acid is added to 100KG water, dilute hydrochloric acid tank is placed at the bottom of the cooler, and a skin tube is connected to the small water pump at the bottom, and the water pump and the cleaned cooler passage form a loop. After the pump is started, it is rinsed with dilute hydrochloric acid solution, and it is generally cleaned for about 6 hours. If it is washed in winter, the solution can be heated to 70-80 degrees to speed up the cleaning and improve the cleaning effect. After washing with dilute hydrochloric acid solution, remove the liquid and rinse with water. In order to prevent acid corrosion, it can be washed with 5% soda solution for 10 minutes, and finally rinsed with water.
