The research results of Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute won the second prize of Jiangsu Water Conservancy Science and Technology Achievements

According to the “Jiangsu Province Water Conservancy Science and Technology Outstanding Achievements Incentive Measures”, the Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Jiangyin Agricultural Machinery Bureau of Jiangsu Province jointly completed the research project “ Demonstration and Promotion of Micro-irrigation Water-saving Technology in Modern and Efficient Agriculture ” by Jiangsu Province. The review of the Water Conservancy Science and Technology Achievements Review Committee was recently awarded the “Second Prize of Jiangsu Water Conservancy Science and Technology Achievements”. This is a new development in my research work in Jiangsu Province.

This project studies modern high-efficiency, water-saving, energy-saving, cost-saving, yield-increasing and efficiency-enhancing technologies. In the agricultural production of fruit trees, vegetables, edible fungi and flowers, the quantitative test of micro-irrigation and water-saving automatic control technology is widely carried out, and the selection is suitable for promotion. Automatic control of plant growth law Micro-irrigation and water-saving new technology, using computer control technology, matching appropriate sensing system, analyzing soil moisture, temperature, fertilizer and other information, determining plant irrigation by detecting changes in plant stem and fruit diameter Interval and effective use of fertilizer.

The project shows obvious characteristics of water saving, energy saving, labor saving, uniform irrigation, improving environmental microclimate, increasing output rate, increasing production, and combining with other agricultural measures in agricultural production, especially in orchard production. After review by the expert committee, the micro-irrigation water-saving technology promotion mechanism and management measures in the project results are at the leading level in China's economically developed regions.
