Application of atmospheric pressure belt dryer in orange peel feed

There are many types of drying machinery. According to the operating pressure, we can usually divide it into an atmospheric dryer and a vacuum dryer. According to the operation mode, we can be divided into continuous dryer and batch dryer, and the atmospheric double-stage belt dryer is one of them.
So how does the orange peel dry in it? First of all, the heat transfer mode of the atmospheric pressure belt dryer is convection, and the conveyor belt carries the orange peel material to move in the drying chamber and is in contact with the hot air. Its components are: drying room, conveyor belt, fan, heater, hoist and unloader. Commonly used materials for conveyor belts include canvas belts, steel belts and steel mesh belts.
The whole belt dryer is divided into two drying zones and a blowing cooling zone. The first drying zone is further divided into two front and rear temperature zones. After the orange peel material is dried by the first and second zones, it automatically falls from the end of the first conveyor belt. Into the first end of the second conveyor belt, during which the material will be flipped by the feeder, then through the cooling zone, and finally the product is discharged from the terminal.
The advantages of atmospheric pressure belt dryers are:
1. Orange peel material can be loosened and turned over when transferring between belts, thus increasing its evaporation area and improving its gas permeability and drying uniformity;
2. The speed of different conveyor belts can be controlled independently, and the hot air flow and temperature and humidity of multiple drying zones can be controlled separately, which is convenient to optimize the material drying process.
