Thin shell eggs evaporate quickly, bacteria are easy to invade, and they are prone to breakage. Thick shell eggs, moisture is not easy to evaporate, gas exchange is difficult, chicken embryos are not easy to shell, easy to suffocate.
In addition, attention must be paid to the cleanliness of the appearance of egg shells, and eggs that are heavily contaminated with feces should not be left in the plant.
The preservation of eggs is closely related to the hatching rate. The place where eggs are placed requires a cool, stable temperature and good ventilation. Egg protein starts to condense at minus 0.5 °C, and embryos die at minus 1 °C. At temperatures above 25 °C, the embryo develops within the egg. The best temperature for keeping eggs is 10°C～15°C. The preservation time of eggs is also very important. The longer the time, the lower the hatching rate. It is better not to exceed 12 days. Due to special needs, if the preservation time exceeds one week, the egg must be turned once a day to prevent the egg yolk from sticking to the eggshell.
