Instructions for using soybean transgenic test strips are as follows

Sample preparation

  • The soybean sample was diluted with distilled water at a weight of 5 (volume), for example, 20 g of soybean, and placed in a pulverizer, crushed, added with 100 ml of distilled water, mixed for 10-15 seconds, and allowed to stand for 30 seconds.

Instructions

  • Take a pipette and take 500ul of the extracted supernatant into the sample cup.
  • Remove the test strip and place it in the sample cup. Do not touch the test strip cover.
    • Keep the vertical direction and immerse the end of the test strip labeled “sample” in the sample extract.
    • Note: Do not immerse the test strip in the sample extract more than 0.5cm . Keep the test strip always immersed in the sample extract throughout the test.

Result analysis

The quality control line will usually appear within 3-5 minutes. The longest reaction time is 20 minutes , at which point the test strip can be removed and taken out.

  • The test line appears (two lines), indicating that the sample is positive.
  • The test line does not appear (only 1 line of the quality control line), indicating that the sample is negative.
  • The color change of the detection line is the same as the color change of the quality control line, and it changes from red to purple.
  • If you need to save the test results for a long time, you can cut off the sample pad and blot the test strip with a paper towel to prevent the residual liquid from interfering with the result.

Precautions

  • Temperature: Detect a suitable temperature of 15-35 °C.
  • Storage: The test strip should be protected from moisture. Before the test, the test strip should be returned to room temperature, then the cover should be opened and the test strip should be tested.
  • Please cover the test strip cover in time after using the test strip.
  • Sample dilution: Please dilute the sample strictly according to the ratio, and take the supernatant, do not take too turbid liquid. If the supernatant contains a lot of tissue, the test strip will not absorb the sample extract.
  • The test strip is immersed: the test strip is immersed in a white line that cannot exceed 0.5 cm. If too much is immersed, the active component of the test strip will be released to the sample. A common failure result is that no quality control lines are formed.
  • The longest reaction time is 20 minutes, and the result of more than 20 minutes is invalid.
  • The supernatant should be allowed to stand for 30 seconds before being taken.
  • Soybeans should not be broken too much, just like corn mash granules, too much to dilute like soy milk, liquid can not move above the test strip.
