Recently, the Chengguan Industry and Commerce Bureau of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau of Tongling County, Anhui Province, conducted a surprise inspection of pharmacies in the county and found a number of “shanzhai†daily products that infringed on the registered trademark rights of others.
Law enforcement officers found a spray repellent toilet water marked “'Liushen's Ice Fen-B Formula†in a pharmacy. Its packaging logo and pattern were similar to the “Liu Shen†toilet water produced by Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd., and the back of the package was similar. Marked with the words "European Liushen", but the front of the package is highlighted "Lishen", the manufacturer labeled Chenghai District, Shantou City Chengrui Cosmetics Factory. In another pharmacy, law enforcement officers discovered a series of cosmetics whose outer packaging was identified as “AOPEI PARISâ€. The appearance of its trademark is very similar to the registered trademark “L'Orealâ€, and its packaging mark indicates that its place of production is Shenzhen Jiaxing Cosmetics Co., Ltd. However, the shop owner could not provide a copy of the corresponding product production license and business license. Law enforcement officials believe that the above two products are allegedly infringing on the exclusive right to use registered trademarks, and the daily chemicals that are suspected of infringement are temporarily detained on the spot and the case is under further processing.
