In 2010, the two parties signed a memorandum on promoting Sino-Japanese cooperation in food safety and formally established a ministerial-level dialogue mechanism to provide institutional and institutional guarantees for both sides to strengthen food safety cooperation, ensure mutual food safety, and promote bilateral food trade. In the past year or so, both parties actively cooperated and worked together under the framework of the memorandum to ensure food safety and guarantee the stability and smoothness of food trade between the two countries.
