The tolerance of lettuce to acid is poor. When the soil pH of vegetable gardens in the southern region is <5, 150-200 kg of quick lime should be applied per acre.
All nitrogen fertilizers were top-dressed, followed by 30% top dressings at 20%, 30% and 50% in the returning green stage, rosette stage and rapid growth stage. Potassium fertilizer was applied at 40% to 50%, and the rest was in the rosette stage and rapid growth stage.
