According to our investigation, the diseases of strawberries in these places are mainly three kinds: gray mold, powdery mildew, and rotten leaf spot disease. These diseases cause the strawberry to suffer varying degrees of damage. The lighter ones cut production by 10%-20%. Reduction in production by more than 50% must be given high priority.
The common denominator of these three diseases is that they are all fungal diseases. They all overwinter on the diseased plant residue; The difference is that the temperature of the first two diseases is within the range of 12-25°C, and it is easy to develop under conditions of high humidity. The latter kind of disease must be at 28-30°C and often occurs in a large number in the case of rainy conditions.
For these three diseases, according to many years of experience and lessons, prevention and control should be started from two aspects of agricultural measures and chemical control.
In terms of agricultural control, the first is to cultivate strawberry in Daejeon, and it is necessary to pay attention to the rotation of dry and dry crops. Continuous planting should not be more than two years in general; the second is to improve the facilities of the water system, so that energy can be drained and filtered, and the roots of strawberries can be made to grow well; It is scientific formula fertilization, avoid partial nitrogenous fertilizer; Fourth, it is close planting in order to prevent shading; Fifth, it is to destroy the diseased plant completely.
