Management of Artificial Breeding Management of Parasites

(a) The equipment can be stocked in large jars, wooden boxes, and large and small cartons. The spawning box is made of wood and is 50 cm long, 30 cm wide and 10 cm high. The bottom is equipped with barbed wire and the mesh is 2-3 mm. Mesh worms are easy to escape; if they are too small, they can't go under debris. The surrounding wall of the box should be smooth, inlaid with glass or tin, to prevent insects from escaping.
(b) Preparation of feed preparation larvae feed: cornmeal 40%, wheat flour 20%, barley flour 20%, peanut cake powder 10%, wheat bran 10%, 1% of vitamin B, 0.05% of vitamin C, 0.03% of nymph Mix with sodium benzoate and cover it with a layer of leaves to maintain the temperature.
(C) Feeding methods Adults after emergence are transferred to breeding cages for rearing. Before placing the adult, first put a board under the bottom of the box, spread a piece of paper on the board (the adult can produce eggs on the paper), sprinkle a layer of mixed feed in the box, about 1 cm thick, and then cover it according to temperature and humidity. Layered leaves. Feed 1-2 times daily.
Since the egg period is short, the eggs should generally be screened once every 5-7 days, and the egg-transferring paper is then transferred to the incubator for incubation. The egg hatching box has the same specifications as the adult eggs, but the bottom of the box is made of wood. An incubator box can incubate eggs in 2-3 spawning boxes, but they need to be stacked in layers. The layers are separated by several wooden strips to allow air to penetrate. During the dry season, a layer of leaves is placed on the eggs. The eggs are hatched in the incubator for 5 days and then all the eggs are extracted. These larvae remain in the incubator and continue to feed. When they start 1-2 years old, no feed is needed, but they are often left standing. With the larvae gradually growing, feeds are gradually added.
After the adult has emerged, it is covered with a piece of paper and the adult crawls onto the piece of paper. Move the pieces of paper together into an adult spawning box for spawning.
Because the worms are afraid of heat and cold, they should pay particular attention to the temperature of the rearing environment when they are reared. Generally, they are controlled at 25-30°C. The humidity should also be strictly controlled. The amount of water in the feed should not be lower than 15% to 17%. If it is too low, it will grow slowly. If it is too high, it will be susceptible to beauveriasis. In the case of Beauveria bassiana, formalin steam sterilization can be used to remove the diseased body.
