Alkaline fertilizer such as calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer can not be mixed with ammonium nitrogen fertilizer. Because alkaline fertilizers and ammonia nitrogen fertilizers such as ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, ammonium chloride, etc., will increase the volatility of ammonia, thereby reducing fertilizer efficiency.
Uncooked farmyard fertilizers cannot be mixed with ammonium nitrate. Because unfamiliar farmyard manures must be decomposed and rotted before they can be used by crops. If mixed with ammonium nitrate, the unripe farmyard manure loses nitrogen during decomposition and rot, so it cannot be applied together, otherwise both nitrogen will be damaged and the fertilizer effect will be reduced.
Chemical fertilizers cannot be mixed with bacterial fertilizers. Because chemical fertilizers have strong corrosiveness, volatility and water absorption, if they are mixed with rhizobia and other bacterial fertilizers, they will kill or inhibit viable bacteria and make bacterial fertilizers ineffective.
