Sesbania ringworm

Symptoms mainly affect the leaves. The lesions on the leaves are irregularly shaped, with a size of 2-10 mm, a central brown color, dark brown edges, and a ring pattern. Leaf spots are similar to black spot, but there are small black spots on the lesions.

The pathogenic Ascochyta sesamicola PK Chi called sesame bisporus, which belongs to the fungus Aspergillus spp. The conidiophore spreads or accumulates in the host's diseased tissue and then breaks through the epidermis. The conidia are spherical to nearly spherical, and the wall is light brown in size, 84-104 μm in size. Conidia are cylindrical to elliptic, colorless and transparent, mostly twins, slightly contracted at the middle diaphragm, individual cells, size 6-112-4 (μm).

Transmission Pathways and Pathogenic Conditions Pathogens use hyphae to overwinter on seeds and diseased bodies, and new conidia are produced in late spring. They are transmitted through wind and rain and are easily infected during flowering.
