Experience 4.1 The incidence of mucinous enteritis in dairy cows is on the rise. Although the etiology and pathology are not fully understood, they tend to be considered to be a hypersensitivity reaction caused by a certain allergen and have a certain relationship with the increase of parasympathetic nervous tension. Allergens include metabolites commonly found in the intestine, parasite proteins and parasitic toxins of the intestinal parasites, special proteins formed by forages and molds, and abnormal metabolites formed in the body.
4.2 The occurrence of this disease may be accompanied by overfeeding of concentrate feed, especially soybean meal, fish meal, etc. which contain higher protein content. In addition to lack of exercise, intestinal absorption is difficult. 4.3 Some dairy cows have diarrhea for a long period of time without effective treatment of various drugs.
